Agartala, Aug 13 (TIWN) Rainfall is inadequate and so the Kharif crops may be damaged, sources from Agricultural department of the state, said today.

 The main loss would be at the Kumarghat sub-division. 

Shortfall of rain has posed a threat for other cereal crops, also. Farmers are now busy in second round of sowing.
