Sabroom, September 8 (TIWN): Resentment has been brewed upon the people of Sabroom after a 19-year-girl has been raped brutally by her neighbour.

An FIR had been lodged aginst the accused namely Pabitra Tripura,  S/O- Anta kumar Tripura, resident of bishnupur,  sadashing para, Sabroom with the case number 60/15 u/s 417/376(2)(n)IPC at Sabroom Police station.

Police arrested the accused Pabitra Tripura from his resident on Monday.

 It’s to be mentioned that the accused Pabitra Tripura is neighbour of the victim, and from many days he was following her. She had been kidnapped and for 2 days long Pratap Tripura raped her.

 Presently she is hospitalized and according to the doctor’s report her condition is critical. Police is further investigating the case.
