AGARTALA, September 7 (TIWN): Indian communists are near extinct not without reasons as they never lived in reality but chosen to live in fools paradise avoiding all important issues around them. Manik Sarkar is no exception; a lameduck communist Chief Minister has no time to visit child rape victims around state, no time to fix State’s deteriorating law & order, taking stock of miserable power condition, rising corruptions but Manik has plenty of time to participate in a useless drama of condemning a war which took place 70 yrs back in 1945 in foreign countries. Keeping in mind the upcoming election CM once again has walked on the road and participated in a rally, with his minsters to voice against 2nd world war. CPI-M ministers together on Monday came on the road with the message of “Stop-Warâ€, remembering 2nd World War.“Every year on September 2nd, this rally is held by CPI-M,but this year it has been little bit shifted due to All India Strike on 2nd September and thus it held on September 7â€, said CPI-M state secretary Bijan Dhar to TIWN. The rally started from Astabol at around 2 pm and walked across the city and later assembled at Umakanta Stadium disrupting public life and wasting State Govt's public money on VIP Ministers security and arrangements. CPI-M’s drama against some useless topics certainly alienating party from the masses.
It’s to be mentioned that Deputy speaker Pabitra Kar, Minister Sahid Chaudhury, MP Shankar Prasad Datta also remained present during the rally.
Talking to CPI-M State secretary Bijan Dhar, he said that “every year we do this rally, remembering the day of 1939’s 2nd world war, when Hitlar attacked Poland, which was the beginning of 2nd World War”.
Dhar further said, “War is a curse of earth, not anyhow appreciable”. “We condemn over terrorism which is increasing rapidly in 21st century”.
