AGARTALA, September 7 (TIWN): Just after the Tripura High Court had banned private classes by the government teachers the state education Minister Tapan Chakroborty has come up saying such phenomenons are visible, which are very unhealthy for education. “The students are being imparted education in unhealthy atmosphere at the teacher’s residence against fees.” However, the statement had recently evoked serious criticism over the role of state Left front government. The guardians’ body claimed if the government could have issue notice banning the private tuition earlier such days would not have to be seen where the HC’s direction had left the students in dilemma hwo are now seeing stars in the day time.Chakroborty praising the HC’s direction said, “Due to the private tuition education is not imparted in the real sense and students do not study the text book at all. Students are also using their studies to get jobs.

”He said teachers should teach with a mission to build better people and a better society by imparting value-based knowledge and have the instinct to recognize talent and nurture it, but interestingly the state Left front government had never came up with any mandatory rules for the government teachers in regard of better teachings in classes rather than taking the private tuition in exchange of hefty amount. As a result a large section of students were now left helpless as their examinations are drawing near and the HC had put a ban on private tuition.

Despite the fact that most of the government schools are running through serious crisis of quality teachers and a section of teachers are actively engaged to the private tuition earning a very hefty amount every month, the government had so far made no mandatory rules and now only then HC had put a ban to the private tuition the state education minister was found praising the HC and its judgement to get an easy escape from the negligence role towards getting a better infrastructure for the government schools and education as a whole.
