AGARTALA, September 6 (TIWN) : Ruling CPI (M) has crossed all limits in misleading and fooling the people of the state. The four social pensions declared by central government recently. CPI(M) claims that they imparted pressure over centre and was instrumental in implementing the four schemes. Ahead of urban body election , the ruling party have started campaigning that all schemes were their s brain work.Is the Food Security Act (FSA) a brain work of CP(M)? They are busy taking the credit by misleading the people about FSA. Chief minister Manik Sarkar and his colleagues before implementation of the act, seriously criticised the act.Whereas now Sarkar’s government is now speaking in favour of the act, even shamelessly claiming FSA was their brain work. Does it not show the double standard attitude of Manik Sarkar? One said they vehemently criticizes the Centre and other side they claim central schemes as their’s.The ruling party will use the FSA as its main weapon in campaign during the ensuing urban body election likely to held on December next. The local committee’s of ruling party have started congratulating Manik Sarkar for implementing the act across the state.It is mentionable here that FSA was the brain work of Congress led UPA government in the centre. It was implemented by BJP led NDA government. Manik Sarkar government was forced to implement FSA in the state from September 1 last by Centre. But failed to implement the act till date.
