AGARTALA, September 1 (TIWN): Almost 2 months have passed after the sensational murder of Pritam Majumder on July 2 night allegedly by his wife Suchismita Majumder and police is yet failure to dig out any concrete details behind the mystery of pritam’s murder.Witnessing the slow pace of investigation in the murder case, the family members of Pritam alleged serious negligence of the department in the investigation.Following the slow pace of development in the Pritam Murder case, the parents of the deceased recently met Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and demanded faster development in the process of investigation and demanded arrest of the accused.The sensational murder case of Pritam Majumder, following which the family members of Pritam had recently met Chief Minister Manik Sarkar seeking justice to the murder of their son Pritam did not get any assurance from the CM. The family members had later met the Director General of Police (DGP) at police headquarter.CM Manik Sarkar, rather than making any comments to Pritam’s family, Sarkar asked them to meet Director General of Police (DGP) at police headquarter to learn the development of the case.

The East Agartala police station’s police following this had arrested the accused wife Suchishmita Roy for her alleged involvement in the murder case and are so far investigating the case.

On being pushed by the state government the Pritam murder case was finally handed over with the state CID team as the police so far failed to crack the case and has brought no development to the case except arresting the accused wife Suchishmita.Speaking to Pritam’s family members DGP said that the entire case is developing in a fluent smooth and there is no chance of delay in the investigationIt is to be mention here that the murder took place on 2nd July night. Resentment brewed up after the locals of Agartala Palace Compound found Pritam dead at his rented house.

The East Agartala police station’s police following this had arrested his accused wife Suchishmita Roy for her alleged involvement in the murder case. Suchismita, wife of the deceased was arrested in connection with the murder of her husband Pritam (22), a resident of Jagaharimura, on July 5.

On the day of their first marriage anniversary, Pritam was allegedly murdered. Locals said that Pritam used to live with his wife Suchismita in a rented house right after their marriage due to some family tension.
