AGARTALA, August 26 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh Mohila Cong. president Kalyani Roy attacked CM Manik Sarkar for his unsuccessful journey as a home minister. “If the CM of a state would be so much busy with other departments too much, how would he concentrate on his own dept?”, says Kalyani Roy to TIWN while detailing about the crimes rates increasing at Tripura.

“However as a minster Badal Chaudhury is far better than CM, and if he takes care of the home department, then possibility remains that the state would run well”, said Kalyani Roy. She further added that Badal Chaudhury has already shown a good minster’s example when he was at this dept. Aslo Badal did well in Health dept., as he dealt well in increasing maleria issued in the state.

Kalyani Roy further blamed the ruling party for dictating police in a wrong way. Police thinks thousand times before take any action in the state. Also for any investigation police is just for show, and the masterminds remain behind and act silently.

Kalyani Roy was detailing about the issue which held recently with a University students Minakshi Debnath. SI Paramita Saha did not take action by saying the victim did not launched any action against the autho driver Lital Paul. However, according to the law of Supreme Court in any case of women abusement, it’s not necessary that the victim ownself will have to lodge FIR, any person can do this, including the SI herself. But police might be was waiting for the signal which would come from the ruling party.

“Police here are acrting just as a puppet in the hands of ruling party”, mentioned Kalyani Roy. During the whole day of the incident the auto driver was romaing before the police station by his vehicle, but police did nothing, alleged Mrs. Roy.

She further mentioned that SFI also did the same job. If SFI was so much eager about the girl’s harrassment then why didn’t they gherou the SI office, but not the West PS? These things shows how the law and order of the state is being maintained by the ruling party, and CM is the master mind of all these.

Roy further blamed CM for the increasing crime rates upon women here in the state. However, if CM is unable to maintain the peace of the state, then better he would resign from the home minister's post.
