AGARTALA, August 21 (TIWN): Even after passage of about four days police is yet failure to nab the culprits behind the sensational murder of 50 years old Santa Saha in her own residence at Shyamali Bzar quarter complex on Monday.Talking to TIWN correspondent on Thursday, New Capital Complex (NCC) OC said that no proper evidence is revealed yet related to the murder case of Santa Saha and interrogation is underway. However, reliable sources confirmed that police might arrest the elder son of Santa Saha suspecting his involvement in the murder.Suspecting deep connection of Santa’s son Dipjoy Saha police might arrest him for further interrogation.Sources also confirmed that the Santa’s son Dipjoy Saha has an illicit relationship with his cousin sister Pew and this was a reason of continuous dispute between the mother and the son.

Suspecting the deep involvement of the family members in the murder of Santa Saha police has been interrogating Dipjoy Saha from the first day of the incident.

Although no proper clue is revealed from the interrogation, still police is carrying out investigation, confirmed NCC OC.

However, the daughter-in-law of the deceased, Bijaya Saha also alleged that there is an illicit relationship of her husband with some other women and following this a continuous heated conversation occurred between the mother and son.

It is to be mentioned here that police is so far claiming that the family members are truly involved behind this murder case as no outsider will have all the detailed information about the directions of Santa’s house.

Above all there is dog in who is said to be very sharp and starts barking when sniffs the arrival of any unknown person in the house. But mysteriously after the murder the dog was found tied to a stand inside the house and according to the localites the dog did not even bark for once when the murder took place. It indicated that the murder has been carried out by some family members, said police.

The slow pace of the investigation shows the failing spirit of the police department and still claiming Tripura to be the safest zone.

It is to be mentioned here that Shyamali bazaar quarter complex is one of the safest zone and a populous area where the top high official of the governments reside.

The incident has triggered question on the role of the police where the hooligans has murdered a 50 year old house wife and after passage of about 4 days police is yet clueless.

Reportedly, the incident took place on Monday morning when all the family members of the deceased were out of the house and she was alone at her home. Taking the advantage of the empty house the miscreants and the hooligans thronged into her room and attacked her with sharp weapon. The miscreants attacked her brutally with a sharp weapon and left her dead on the spot.

Multiple injuries from sharp weapon were found in her body and was left dead in her own house.

However, police is further investigating the case.
