KAMALPUR, AUGUST 21, (TIWN): In the sensational Moutushi Debbarma murder case police had a huge success by nabbing the illegal and under-scanner lover of Moutushi namely Jhintu Debbarma. Salema police arrested Jhintu from his in-law’s house at Chailengta acting on a tip-off. Salema police booked him under the case number 24/2015 under section 302 IPC.

Police also seized the blood stained vehicle of Jhintu bearing number TR-01-V-0618.

Although Jhintu denied about committing the murder, but the related evidences like blood stained vehicle, blood stained dress and irrevallant arguments made police to suspect on him more firmly.

Police produced Jhintu before the SDJM Court on Thursday and the SDJM sent him to five days’ police remand. Police speculated that in this brutal murder more than one person were engaged along with Jhintu.

On 18^th August last, the corpse of Moutushi Debbarma of Bhatkhauri found dead and in devastated condition at her parental house. In primary investigation the illegal extra-marital affair of Moutushi had been revealed and one TSR jawan Jhintu Debbarma came under scanner.

Acting on a tip-off investigating officer SI Goutam Debbarma arrested Jhintu from his father-in-law’s house at Chailengta yesterday.
