Belonia, August 18 (TIWN): Raising voice against the misrule of the ruling government, BJP Belonia committee on Monday hold a silent rally accusing the ruling party for the immense rise of the atrocities against the women in the state.
More than 200 people participated in the rally.
Molestation, rape, kidnapping, women trafficking and all other atrocities against the women are all on in a rise showing failure of the ruling government in the curbing the atrocities against the women.
The silent rally led by BJP leader Subal Bhowmik moved across several parts of Belonia city and assembled in front of the working office of the party.
Addressing the media, BJP leader Subal Bhowmik said that crime against women has touched the sky and the ruling party is silent over the issue and not taking any action.
He further said that the state is facing a bad time due to the misrule of the ruling government and days are not so far when CPI-M will be removed from the chair.
Only BJP can save the state from the misrule of the state government, claimed Subal Bhowmik.
Bhowmik also said that years after years the ruling government is bluffing the people and are playing with the sentiments of the state peoples. The crime against women is on a rise and the ruling party not talking any initiative to curb the crime.
However, the rally was also attended by BJP Belonia Committee president Rupak Majumder and Secretary Gautam Sarkar.
