AGARTALA, August 17 (TIWN): According to the report, a total of 378 missing complaints are lodged with different police station in past 6 months.
Since past 6 months, from February, 2015 altogether 378 missing complaints is lodged till 15 July under different police station.
The data shows that the safety measures of the state are poor with Tripura police failing to maintain strict safety in the state.
However, it is to be mentioned here that among the 378 missing people, 295 are recovered but the rest of the missing people couldn’t be traced so far.
Accordingly, for the month of February 2015, 56 missing complaints are lodged, 79 in March, 64 in April, 77 in May, 75 in June, 27 till the15th of July.
Despite the tall claims of the Tripura Police, the number of missing report has increased alarmingly.
In past 6 months there are reports of 378 missing people from Tripura under different police station.
So far among the 378, 295 are being recovered and are handed over to family.
The several tall claims made by the ministers and police clamoring that Tripura is most the secured state, everything turns bleak with the rising number of missing reports in the state over past 6 months.
The data brings out the negligence of the police department and the administration.
As many as 378 people, many of them minor girls, went missing from Tripura in past 6 months, with 295 being recovered and remain untraced.
