KAMALPUR, August 15 (TIWN): In a mysterious incident, the kidnapping of a minor girl got unearthed after 21 days when the father lodged a case with the Salema police station. The accused remained absconding yet. This happened at Khasiapunji of West Dalucharra village under Salema police station. The act of the father and family members came under scanner for so-much delay in filing case.
According to the case number 26/2015 of Salema police station, on 22nd July last, one Saptami Namasudra, a student of class IX of Khasiapunji area left her house for school and not returned home till date.
After much searching at relatives and friends, her father Dinesh came to know that, four persons kidnapped her. The four accused were Upendra Namasudra of Halhuli, Itendra Namasudra of West Dalucharra, Srimati Namasudra of West Dalucharra and Krishnagopal Biswas of North Kachucharra. Dinesh filed a case against them with Salema police station yesterday. But police failed to nab any of the accused as well to rescue the girl yet. Police assured of unearthing the real saga soon.
