AGARTALA, August 14 (TIWN): National Students' Union of India on Friday placed 6-charter points of deputation to the joint director of School Education Department Nikhil Biswas demanding to stop SFI from collecting subscription fees from different schools.
General Secretary of NSUI, Rakesh Das said that scholarship should be provided to students of very school as early as possible. He said that good quality of mid-day meal should be provided to the students without any kind of irregularities.
Besides, they have demanded to provide safe drinking water to the students of every school and to maintain hygienic sanitation, so that the students do not face any kind of problem in health.
Further, General Secretary Das said that there should be frequent inspection in the schools so that the disciplines could be maintained in the schools.
Lastly, they have demanded to appoint required number of teachers so that the students do not face problem with the education due to lack of teachers.
The deputation was placed by seven members group. NSUI President Bapi Das, District Vice-President Tanmoy Saha and others were present.
