AGARTALA, August 10 (TIWN): Tripura Farm Sramik Union on Monday placed deputation to the Director of Animal Resource Development Department Dharmeswar Das at the department office.
Demanding to deploy workers in the farm where the works has been stopped due to lack of workers, the Tripura Farm Sramik Union place 12-point of charters of demand.
Tripura Farm Sramik Union President Kanu Ghosh on Monday mentioned that the department should allot workers in the two existing colleges of Agriculture and Animal Resource Department.
Keeping link with the price hike, the monthly wages should also get increase and the amount should be Rs. 15, 000, demanded President Kanu.
They demanded that the staff and the officer should be remain present in the farm regularly, to provide cash memo after every sale in the farm, to regularize the workers and to provide pay scale to the PL workers engaged in different farms.
They further demanded that if any accident happens to any of the workers than the department should finance the family for the treatment purpose.
For the development of the state the central government should provide all kinds of necessary help and to establish branch of Banks in the area where there is no bank for the betterment of the people.
