To coordinate their worldwide network of suppliers, distributors and consumers, organizations have developed global information systems that can track orders, deliveries, and payments round the clock. This has been possible because of the development of IT in its present form.

However, experts and officials from USA, UK, Taiwan state bureaucrats from Chief Secretary to Industries Secretary, IT Secretary, Industries & Commerce Director and number of senior IAS, IPS and IFS officials remained present in the second Tripura Conclave and exchange their opinions and ideas apart from doing every possible bit to lay a feasible roadmap for a vibrant IT industry here in Tripura.

And the same is not confined within the set up of few offices of couple of IT giants in the state but the same would also place a multiplier effect in the overall economy of NE India’s second most viable state. Job opportunities for IT and computer science students, diverse indirect employment, world class IT service for the state people and other government and non-governmental establishments, infusion of multi million rupees into state’s Gross Domestic Product (GSDP), an industry friendly image of state and creation of other subsidiary (like IT’S) industries are some of the rays which would shine in the gloomy industry deprived sky of the Tripura, which is, within next six or seven months would start to function  as India’s third Internet Gateway.
