KALASHAHR, August 6 (TIWN): After Congress surrounded BDO Anupam Chakraborty and voiced against continuous scams including Fishery, MGNREGA, Indira Awash Yojona since last few years, 22 files related to these departments have been found vanished from the BDO office, claimed cong. Cong. raised voice against all the Panchayats’ members of Kailashahar subdivision alleging their chief involvement in those scams. However talking to the Jilla Congress Shabhadipati Badujjaman over phone he said, many files found disappeared from the BDO office after they demanded all the information through RTI. However, within few hours Cong. is to again protest if BDO doesn’t help them to reveal the scams, said Badujjaman.

It’s to be mentioned that on July 25, Cong. under the leadership of Badujjaman, Jilla Congress Sabhadipati, gheraued BDO Anupam Chakraborty’s chamber and continued for 5 hours claiming to take necessary actions against the corrupted Panchayat leaders. But till day no action has yet been taken, he said.

Hence it’s to be mentioned here that Kailshahar subdivision is being claimed by the opposition as to be gripped under various scams since last few years. Talking to Birajit Sinha, he himself told TIWN various times that Cong. would go to the High Court, if “no Action” is taken against the accused Panchayat members.

Talking to Badrujjaman, Con. leader of Unokoti Dist. he said that in Fishery, violating the rules of schemes one person is found to possess many fisheries at Kailashahar. Not only this, in a single family it has been found that 3 members are having 3 fisheries in total, whether according to the norms, a single family can only have a single fishery.  For example: In year 2013, crores had been sanctioned from the central govt. to renovate a water-body in the purpose of tourism as well as fishery, at Birchandra Nagar Panchayat’s area. It was planned that like Rudrasagar, this water-body will be gifted with a house or “Mohol” inside it, which will attract tourists. But that work has not been progresses and the dealers and investments have no gen.

A hefty amount of money had been sanctioned in 2014 to make and produce fishes in 103 numbers of water bodies, but only 48 water-bodies for fishing cultivation had been made. For each and every ponds Rs. 94,000/- has come whereas very little amount has been utilized and the rest amount have been distributed to the “close persons” of the Panchayat Sachib.

In the matter of MGNREGA, not only embezzlement of money has been found as the issue of discourse, but surprisingly following the RTI act, Cong. unearthed that moneys in the name of 12 REGA workers are swallowing by the Panchayat leaders, whether amongst those 12 members 2 people are already dead and 10 are living abroad.

In Indira Gandhi Awash Yojna, the matters went same, as a result the persons who really deserve house loans are deprived at a large. Hence Soumitra Chakma, 4 district Panchayat Officer met the BDO and asked to operate a proper investigation procedure, so that the reality would be unearthed soon.
