KAMALPUR, August 5 (TIWN): The only pool at the heart of the town decorated and protected with iron and brick fencing remained in awkward situation for more than last two months. The situation turned so as a corner of the fencing was to be broken to rescue a bull from the pool. But still neither the Nagar Panchayat authority nor the administration got time to repair it although the pool situated adjacent to Nagar Panchayat office and SDM office.

On 21^st May last, a bull somehow fell into the pool in the heart of the town as the gate of the fencing was left opened. Then the locales and administration tried their best to rescue the bull from the pool.

At last finding no other means, the fencing of the pool had to be broken and the bull got rescued. Till then the part of the fencing remained broken. Neither the Nagar Panchayat authority nor the civil administration got time to rectify it.

As a result the beautification of the town got hampered greatly. At the same time, the kids of the pool adjacent JB School also came under the possibility of accident as the broken part remained just in front of the school.
