The teacher crisis remained long prevalent in the West Lambucharra High School for last four to five years. The school needed at least 3 teachers for teaching Science subjects while the available strength declined to merely one.
Besides, the school had no teacher to teach English and Sanskrit. In this scenario, 350 students had long been demanded for appointment of adequate teachers. But as the authority remained reluctant enough hence the students boycotted the class today. The Headmaster Himadri Koloi informed the Inspector of Schools immediately about the incident. But no step initiated from the authority.
However, the students threatened of further and stronger unrest if their demands not got fulfilled soon.
