AGARTALA, August 2 (TIWN): Raising voice against the rampant corruption in various parts of the state, Youth Congress would place deputation to District Magistrate of seven districts of the state demanding to take a strict action to bring down the corruption and crime in the state.
As per the scheduled programme, the Youth Congress would place deputation to District Magistrate of Gomati District on August 10said Tripura Youth Congress President Sushanta Choudhury, addressing a press conference on Saturday.
The Youth Congress will also place deputation to Khowai DM on August 12. Beside they will also place deputation to Sepahijala DM onAugust 20 and to North District DM on August 21.
However, on August 22 the Youth Congress would place deputation to Unakoti District DM, on August 24 to the District Magistrate of South District and finally on August 28 to the District Magistrate of Dhalai District.
The corruption includes Food Security Bill, Chit Fund scam, and allotment for the unemployed people, REGA scam and crime against women.
While addressing the conference, Choudhury said that it is expected that by September 25 a mass demonstration will be staged by the Youth Congress. During the demonstration, leaders from Delhi will also participate at the programme.
The Congress earlier sought the intervention regarding the partisan in Food Security beneficiaries. They also highlighted the pitiable condition of the government employees in the reign of the Left Front government during their conversation with the Governor.
