UDAIPUR, July 30 (TIWN): A 28-year old man on Wednesday night died after being hit by a gas loaded truck at Dhajanagar, Agarala-Sabroom NH44.
The truck bearing registration number TR-01-W-1867 has been seized by the police of Radha Kishore Police Station.
The incident took place after the 28-year old man (Raju Rudra Paul) closing his shop was walking through Dhajanagar Police Lane under Udaipur sub-division. At night when he was on the way to his home, the gas loaded truck hit him from the backside.
Seeing his condition critical the locals took him to the Gomati District hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
The locals and the police could not trap the diver as he left the truck on the spot and managed to flee.
After getting the information the Fire service and the police has rushed to the spot and investigated the incident.
The police are further investigating the case.
The deceased has left behind his wife and one year old child.
