AGARTALA, July26 (TIWN): 4th convention of Tripura Nirman Sramik Union (TNSU) of Maharajganj bazaar unit was held at Sakhichoron School on Sunday.

Addressing the convention, leader Ranjit Chakraborty and Pijush nag said that after several hue and cries the unit has decided to organize the 4th convention of TNSU.

As a part of the convention the leaders paid tribute to the people those who lost their lives in the Nepal earthquake.

Construction Workers' Union one of the most progressive and fastest-growing unions of labourers and construction workers. Our members stand united through collective bargaining agreements, which help us earn family-supporting pay, good benefits, and the opportunity for advancement and better lives, said the leaders.

However, the leaders alleged that the labourers are deprived of their deserving wages and no financial aid is provided to the labourers.  

They further said serious change is noticed in the national international scenario but with the days coming near the union have to be tough in dealing with the entire situation.

The convention mainly discussed on the history and growth of the organization and also discussed on several issues of the present scenario of national and international politics.

Speaking on the history of the TNSU, organization leader Ranjit Chakraborty said that that the organization was set up in the year 2001. In 2004 the first convention of the organization was held and 2nd convention in 2008, 3rd in 2012 and the 4th convention in 2015. So far 27 meeting are being organized from the organization.
