AGARTALA, July 26 (TIWN): After the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court on Wednesday has send the accused wife Suchishmita Roy (Biswas) to 14 days jail custody on Pritam murder case, CID team members have interrogated suchismita in jail.
Sources claimed that while interrogation she claimed that she has mixed large number tablet in his food to make him feel drowsiness.
The CID team member’s said that from interrogation it can be claim that Pritam was murdered and some other person are also involved in this conspiracy.
However, the team is further planning that they will forward all the documents and the videos, audios and photograph to another CID team outside the state.
It is to be mention here that the murder took place on 2nd July night. Resentment brewed up after the locals of Agartala Palace Compound found Pritam dead at his rented house. The East Agartala police station’s police following this had arrested his accused wife Suchishmita Roy for her alleged involvement in the murder case. Suchismita, wife of the deceased was arrested in connection with the murder of her husband Pritam (22), a resident of Jagaharimura, on July 5.
Suchismita’s statement appears self contradictory which indicates her hand in the case, said the police. In course of search, police recovered some materials which could be helpful for the investigation process to the CID team.
On being pushed by the state government the Pritam murder case was finally handed over with the state CID team as the police so far failed to crack the case and has brought no development to the case except arresting the accused wife Suchishmita.
On the day of their first marriage anniversary, Pritam was allegedly murdered. Locals said that Pritam used to live with his wife Suchismita at a rented house right after their marriage due to family problem.
“My son was never happy since he married that girl. She never let him live peacefully. She is having extra-marital affair and used to pressurize him to give her a divorce,” the deceased’s father said.
