AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): The fate of 10323 Govt. School teachers will be at stake once again as the hearing into the termination of 10323 illegally recruited Govt. teachers will once again take place in the Supreme Court of India on Monday, the 27th July next. The State Govt. earlier on record had assured the 10323 Govt. school teachers to make them permanent after completion of five years in the job, but the sources in the state Finance Dept and the education directorate has confirmed that the departments have not done the required formalities to make them permanent so far. The analysts are of the believe that the assurance given by the ministers was just an attempt to pose as the well wisher of the about to be terminated teachers knowing it well that the recruitments may not be defended in the court and the Supreme Court too may keep the judgment of the Tripura High Court intact. Sources in the CPI-M Melarmath office says that the party is worried with the depleting support base in the state, and cancellation of the 10323 jobs of Govt. teachers may further worsen the position of the CPI-M in the state. The Tripura High Court order to remove the State Law Secretary from the post and transferring him to Unakoti district at this critical juncture is making the CPI-M more nervous and the party is even ready to go into a conflict with the High Court to safeguard Datamohan Jamatia as the man in question is regarded as the savior of the party and Govt.s stand.

The close proximity of the Law Secretary with the Chief Minister is well recognized and the controversial note of the Law Secretary to the Chief Minister is only a proof of the proximity of Jamatia with Manik Sarkar. The state Govt. is taking all steps to prevent the law secretary being punished by the High Court for his misdeeds in the contempt of court case.

The flourishing of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Marxist state and the continuous deterioration of the managed opposition Congress is again worrying the party think tank in the Melarmath, and the party sees a greater conspiracy to thwart out the Manik Sarkar Govt. from power in the 2018 election. The appointment of Tathagata Roy, a state unit BJP president of West Bengal, the over activism of the RSS in the state of late, the visit of various central ministers in the state with developmental schemes, launching of projects benefiting the state people are not viewed lightly by the CPI-M think tanks.

Sources in the party head office in the state says that the impetuous mass movement in the state launched by the BJP, specially in the interiors of the state is a very cautiously and strategically driven step of the Amit Shah and company to dethrone the communist party in the state.

The recent clash of SFI and ABVP supporters at Dharmanagar is an indication that the bJP is gaining strength in the state to pose as the opposition to the CPI-M and the shifting of the youths to the BJP is making the CPI-M nervous.

The adverse judgment of the Supreme Court in the 10323 Govt. School teachers termination case may further worsen the Left party’s support base among the state people and the party’s indirect involvement in the recruitment process will be proved once again, claims the political analysts here.
