KAILASHAHAR, July 25 (TIWN): A 9-year old student suffered from injuries for prolonged 5 hours due to the negligence of the Kailashahar Phultali Senior Basic school authority, the incident came into limelight after the victim’s mother given a written complaint to school Inspector of Kailashahar on Saturday against the school authorities saying that this incident could have been very serious if an immediate treatment would not have been done. She further urged the authorities to keep notice so that such type of incident should not be repeated.

The mother of the victim has also forwarded the complaint letter to the District Magistrate of Unakoti Mrinal Kanti Nath and District Education Officer Swapan Kumar Das.

The 9-year-old child is a student of Class 3, namely Manish Kumar Sinha.

When asked about the incident to the parents, the parents said that the incident was of July 15, the 9-year-old child while playing with his friend suddenly fall down and got injury on his left hand. Seeing his injuries the students and a teacher brought him to the class room.

According to his mother Usha Rani Sinha, the school authorities did not inform anyone the family and even they did not feel necessary to take him to the nearby hospital for primary check up. Stressing on the incident she said that 4km away from the school there is a Kanika Memorial PHC, if they wanted they could have taken him there.

She said instead of taking her child to the hospital or informing the family members the school authorities made the child to seat in the school for prolonged 5 hours.

She further enhanced that the family member somehow got the information from the other students and rushed to the school and took the child to Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Hospital. The doctor has treated the injuries of the child and bandaged his injuries.

However, when asked about the incident to the Head Master of the school Ranjan Sinha, he said he do not know anything about the incident. But it has been suspected that such a major incident has happened in the school than how cum a Head Master of the school do not about it.

Therefore, the incident has brewed resentment among the guardians.
