AGARTALA, July 24 (TIWN): Ambalika Dutta, Arnab Chakraborty are in and a few more employees of the State Education department may be booked and jailed in connection with the multi crore rupees Rastriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan (RAMSA), but the real architect of the whole siphoning process, the Godfathers of Ambalika and Arnab are yet to be booked in connection with the scam. Suspended deputy director of school education department posted in Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyaan (RAMSA) , Amablika Dutta was sent to jail on Wednesday till 29th of this month. She was arrested last week , and spent a few days in hospital with problems caused by a nagging female disease and was sent to fourteen days jail custody on Wednesday. Ambalika is directly involved in the Rs 4.5 crore RAMSA scam for which cashier of the department Arnab Chakraborty has been in jail since September last year after being arrested from Calcutta. Police sources investigating the case said that they have traced evidence of Ambalika having signed and withdrawn an amount of Rs 6.40 lakhs. Two other officials of the school education department deputy director Dilip Debbarma and additional director Biswarath Debbarma, already suspended for involvement in the RAMSA scam, might also be interrogated afresh.

Sources close to Ambalika however said that a bail petition on her behalf will be moved in the high court citing her fragile health and urgent need for treatment outside the state. 

According to sources in the education department, a prominent leader of the ruling CPI-M was the main architect of the whole process and his patronage of the scam-stars was known to one and all in the education department.

If the sources are to be believed, a major share of the siphoned money went to the party fund and a book publisher of the capital city was maintain the liaison among the various beneficiaries. The partial police of the state Govt. will never be able o book the real architect of the scam until and unless the case is handed over to the CBI, claims the source. 

Like any other scams of the state Govt. departments, the RAMSA case will also hit the beadlock and the mastermind of the multi crore rupee scam will never be booked. The Bishalgarh Block MGNREGA scam, the NRHM scam, the Rupaichari Block multi crore rupee scams will never be investigated properly as this will prove the nexus of the politicians with the scam stars, claims the political analysts here.
