SABROOM, July 24 (TIWN): Frequent power cuts disrupt lives of common people of Sabroom. The frequent power cut has become quite irritating for the people of Sabroom in general. The power supply has totally gone out of control with no predictable time to the power cuts.

This power cut is not limited to only day’s hours. People of here are also suffering from power cuts at night. Moreover, during the night, there is a power cut after every one hour for which people can’t sleep properly. The power crisis exists in all parts of the town.

A college student, Madhumita Roy, said, “It is very hard to concentrate on studies due to power cuts. The inverters even cannot take the load for long in the absence of recharge.

”Moreover, the power cut is not limited during day only. People of this area are also suffering from power cuts at night as they said in the night “there is a power cut after every one hour” for which people could not sleep in peace. Uttam Das, a resident of Sabroom area, said that he was unable to sleep during the night. Uttam, a banker by profession, further said,“After a sleepless night, to concentrate on the work is very difficult.”This is a glaring example of Tripura as a “model of development”
