UDAIPUR, July 23 (TIWN): A man killed his 35 years old cousin brother reportedly in an inebriated state at their home in Munda Colony area under Birganj police station of Amarpur sub-division on Tuesday late night after being enraged over heated exchange of words between both of them.

The deceased is identified as Mona Munda 35; who is allegedly killed by his cousin brother Jiten Munda in drunken condition.

Both of them are daily wage labourer and were spending their days critically.  Toxic alcohol deaths are a regular occurrence, where people often drink cheap country liquor.

Reportedly, on Tuesday late night when both the brothers were highly intoxicated a heated argument arose between them resulting the deceased cousin brother Jiten Munda to kill him. Over a heated argument between the two, arguments broke out between them and losing control over the senses the accused Jiten Munda beaten up Mona brutally and left him in a critically injured condition.

However, late in the night nothing was revealed whether he was out of his senses of he was dead. By Wednesday morning when he did not open the room of his door till late in the morning the family member Mona went for calling him. After several minutes they discover that he is in critical condition and needs medical attention.  

Immediately the family members shifted Mona to Amarpur hospital for medical help. However, seeing his critical condition the doctors shifted him to Gomati district hospital; but unfortunately he died on the way to Gomati district hospital.

The residents alerted the police and a team from RKpur police under Gomati district hospital has visited to the hospital. However, the families has lodged a complaint with RKpur police but the as the station of the crime is Munda Colony under Birganj police station, police will further handover the case with Birganj police station.

Police is further investigating the case.
