KHOWAI, July 21 (TIWN): In order to observe the various developmental works at Khowai District and Dhalai District, a 6-member team of SC, ST and OBC Minority Welfare Committee of Tripura Vidhan Sabha.

The team of representatives walked around the Teliamura Block, Kalyanpur Block and observed the various developmental works at the Khowai Block.

The team also discussed about the work progress and the initiatives taken for the development of the area with the officials of the Departments.

In the six member team, Chairperson of the Committee MLA Sudhan Das, MLA Jashabir Tripura, Rajkumar Choudhury, Manindra Das, Gouri Das and Haricharan Sarkar were there. Along with team other officials of the various departments visited the area with an aim to look around the various developmental works.

During the visit, the team observed the girls hostel of Khowai Government Girls School at Khowai municipality area. They also visited the Madrassa School at North Durgonagar, Jama Masjid and Aparupa Community centre at North Shingi Cherra.

They further looked around the drinking water projects which are undergoing construction. And later, the team conducted a meet with the representatives and officials of the departments where they have discussed about the various problems and need of development in the area.

During the meet, Bimbisar Bhattacharjee discussed about the various developmental work and listen to the problems faced by the area.
