Man kills his younger brother for Rs. 40

UDAIPUR, July 13 (TIWN): In a bizarre incident, a 45-year old man died on Sunday after his elder brother beaten him brutally when he asked to return his Rs. 40. The deceased Kebal Namo was a daily wage labour and was a resident of Santirbazar, ward no. 1 under Santir Bazar Police Station.

The accused was identified as Joy Kumar Namo (50) who is also a daily wage labour. At first, Kebal Namo was admitted to Santir Bazar Hospital. Finding his condition critical the doctor of Santir Bazaar Hospital referred him to Gomati district hospital, informed the wife of deceased.

She further said that Kebal died on the way to Gomati District Hospital on Sunday.

Detailing about the incident the wife of the deceased said that the unpleasant incident started when Kebal asked his Rs. 40 from his elder brother Joy Kumar Namo at Santirbazaar market.

She said when his younger brother asked for the money infront of the public in the market, it hampered Joy’s self respect. Agitated over Kebal his elder brother beaten him brutally on Saturday evening.

That day Kebal returned home but his health started to deteriorate, panic over the condition of Kebal the family members admitted him to the Santir Bazaar but the family failed to save Kebal’s life.

The body has been taken for post mortem.
