UDAIPUR, July 12 (TIWN): Within 2 years after inauguration of Gomati Dist. hospital; it started to deteriorate already. In the ground floor of the hospital, many cracks on the hospital walls have been visible, which is grazing the whole hospital wall gradually and thus has become a life-risky matter. The poor infrastructure and cheap materials used in govt. works has once again proved, with the hospital’s damaging shape.

Gomati Dist. Hospital was inaugurated at Tepania, after shifting the hospital form Udaipur Main Town to Tepania in the year 2014. Opposition party on that time protested against the ruling Govt.’s decision of hospital shifting. However after ensuring the mass, to avail all the facilities to the patients at last it was started in the year 2014.

The work was completed within 2012, crores of investments was poured by central Govt. to provide better facilities to common people. And especially congress cried on the road not to shift the district hospital from the main town of Udaipur into Tepania, but at last the hospital was shifted at Tepania by giving lots of hopes to provide better health care to the public. But the matter has gone worsen now.

From its medical generic centre to child care every sectors are hit by unscientific infrastructure and unavailability of facilities. In child ward children are more, but the beds are less. The Generic medicine centre provides wrong medicines to people. Now the whole hospital is on the verge of destruction and anytime the wall may collapse.

Gomati Dist. hospital was launched in January 12, 2012 before the eye-witness of ministries of Tripura. It is to be mentioned that in the inauguration programme of Gomati Dist. Hospital on 12th June 2012 tall claims had been made by the Health Minister Tapan Chakraborty, “From now onwards, facilities in District Hospital will be created newly."  But all the promises have now vanished with continuous decay of the hospital.
