KAMALPUR, July 11 (TIWN): The prestigious and the largest football tournament so-far of the sub-division, the Evergreen League-cum-knockout Prize money Football tournament got whistled off from Friday here at Kalibari ground for the 13th time.

MLA Bijoy Lakshmi Sinha inaugurates the tournament kicking off the ball. MLA Anjan Das was present as Chief Guest. Nagar Panchayat Chairperson and the Vice Chairperson, the Durgachowmuhani Panchayat Samiti Chairperson was also present during the inaugural program. Amidst the possibility of heavy rain huge number of people gathered in the kalibari ground to witness the inaugural moment. After inauguration two matches were played.

In the 13^th edition of this tournament, in total 32 teams took part. The tournament would continue for more than one month. The winner would get prize money of 7, 000 rupees and the runners would get prize money of 4, 000 rupees.
