BELONIA, July 11 (TIWN): On yet another minor rape incident here at Tripura Radhanagar Laxminarayan tilla under Belonia sub-division in the so called ‘Golden era’ of Manik Sarkar, complaint has been lodged against a middle aged man on Friday in allegation of raping a minor girl on Thursday late evening.

In a bizarre incident, a minor girl has been raped at Radhanagar under Puranrajbari police station under Belonia sub-division on Thursday evening in her own house.

The victim is identified as a student of class 9 in Radhanagar Higher Secondary school.

The incident took place on Thursday evening when the victim was asleep in her own room at her house. Taking the advantage of empty house the accused rapist entered the house of the victim and thronged into her room and threatened her to remain silent and not to scream.

The victim stated, while she was asleep the unknown man entered her room, and raped her. With the fearing of getting killed she remained silent and only let her tears to shed.

However, gaining courage she screamed loudly and aware the localites to come and rescued her from the hand of the rapist.

Getting alarm the localites reached the spot, but unfortunately the rapist managed to flee from the spot leaving the girl in wilderness.

Further, on Friday morning the victim along with her parents lodged complaint with the Puranrajbari police station demanding immediate investigation of the crime.

Following the complaint the police personnel along with the forensic team reached to the spot and investigated the area for collecting evidence related to the heinous crime.

A suspicion however grew in the mind of the girl as she did not scream for help in the beginning and later she also said that the rapist was not identified to the victim and doesn’t know anything related to his identification leaving the police in darkness.

However, police is further is further investigating the case.
