Agartala, Sep 6, (TIWN): Following the schedule of Election Commission of India, Summary Revision of Photo electoral Rolls have started last Thursday onwards for all the sixty constituencies of the sate. And for this, January 01, 2014 has been taken as the base date. State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Asutosh Jindal has informed about this today at the state Secretariat.

  In all the designated 3095 polling stations, photo electoral rolls have been made available. The draft electoral roll has been published today. According to this, at present the state has 23, 48, 951 voters. Out of this, male voters are 11, 96,677 and women voters are 11, 52,274.

 The CEO today has informed recently that any sort of clarification and claims regarding the published list would be entertained till next October 1,  for wide circulation of the list, it would be read out in all the concerned parts of Gram Sabha, local bodies and the meeting of RW meetings on next September 8 to September 15, next.
