AGARTALA, July 10 (TIWN): The Chief Judicial Magistrate Court on Thursday has send the accused wife Suchishmita Roy (Biswas) to three days police remand over 22 years old Pritam murder case. Pritam was her husband and was found murdered at his own living room on July 3 morning.

The East Agartala police station police following this had arrested the accused wife Suchishmita Roy on Sunday for her alleged involvement in the murder case.

On the day of their first marriage anniversary, Pritam was allegedly murdered. Locals said that Pritam used to live with his wife Suchismita at a rented house right after their marriage due to family problem.

“My son was never happy since he married that girl. She never let him live peacefully. She is having extra-marital affair and used to pressurize him to give her a divorce,” the deceased’s father said.

However the police are still in dark and was unable to find out the reason behind the murder. It is worthy to mention here that on July 6 family members of the deceased had gheraud the East Agartala Police Station and demanded for stern action against the accused wife Suchishmita.

Accused wife Suchishmita will be produced before the court again on July 11.
