AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): Finally, the suspense is over and Ratan Tata landed in Agartala. Tata's arrival delayed due to technical faults.The aircraft was taken to Kolkata and Tata finally reached Agartala over three hours late on a Spicejet flight, sources said. Tata is slated ro return from Agartala by an Indigo flight.
He was supposed to arrive at 10.30 am to attend a meeting with the administration, and later to meet with the press; but due to some technical faults in his aircraft, a rumour spread that Tata Group Chairman Emeritus “may not be coming” to Tripura.
But presently on Thrusday afternoon Tata is with the officials in the state secretariat, to ink number of memorandum of understandings (MoU) at the evening with Tripura Govt.
In his maiden visit TATA accompanied by 13 representatives of TATA Trust has already arrived in the state to sign 3 MoUs at Civil Secretariat.
