UDAIPUR, July 9 (TIWN): Gomati Dist Hospital has gone under water due to the rainy season. The only connective path between National Highway and Gomati Dist. Hospital is now filled by rain water; as there is no proper way by which the water can get released.

It proved the unscientific way of Hospital Road construction, which was done before few years by PWD department particularly for this hospital.

Gomati Dist. Hospital was inaugurated at Tepania, after shifting the hospital form Udaipur Main Town to Tepania in the year 2014. People on that time protested against the Govt.’s decision of hospital shifting. However after ensuring the mass, to avail all the facilities to the patients at last it was started in the year 2014.

But since the time of inauguration, one after one complaint against Gomati dist. Hospital’s service has been coming out. From its medical generic centre to child care every sectors are hit by unscientific infrastructure and unavailability of facilities.

Now the main road, which connects the Gomati Dist. Hospital and the National Highway has gone under water after heavy rains. The connective road, though was being metalled, had not leveled with the height of National Highway and the Dist. Hospital. Presently the condition of both the hospital and NH are on top and the connective road is in down position. As a result the road has gone under water, which has created hardship for the common people as well as the patient parties.

All kinds of vehicles including ambulance, private cars, bikes are facing ache to pass by this road. Moreover, as the road condition is not so far well, the chances of accident is increased. In this knee level  water no whole between on road can be guessed, following which so many minor accidents have already occurred, reports say.

While talking to TIWN, a patient party and the locals have vented their anger against the authorities and poor skills of Govt Engineers, to make such a road to connect the NH 44 road and Dist. Hospital without bringing it into the same level while metalling it.
