BELONIA, July 7 (TIWN): In a bizarre incident, police personnel of Bonkul police station rescued a 13 year old minor from a deep jungle on Monday afternoon.

The victim is a resident of Bogachotul area under Korbuk sub-division.

According to the source, the minor was kidnapped on 27th June from Bogachotul area under Korbuk sub-division at night 8.30 pm.

However, failing to get any trace of the minor girl, her father Shayama Charan Tripura, lodged a complaint with Korbuk Police station on 28th June.

After 9 days of continuous search, the minor girl was suspiciously rescued from a jungle under Bonkul Police station on Monday afternoon.

Reportedly, getting alarm on Monday morning the police personnel of Bankul police station rushed to the spot and rescued the girl from the jungle with severe injuries in her body.

However, the girl was not in a condition to response to any question of the policemen. After preliminary investigation it was found that the she is the same missing girl who was kidnapped on the night of 26th June from Korbuk Sub-division.

After rescuing the girl, she was taken to Bonkul Police station. As per rules the police have informed the concerned police station of Korbuk as well as have informed the father of the girl.

Further, suspicion grew among the police, that the girl was kidnapped from Bogachutal area under Korbuk police station, how she has been rescued from a jungle of Bonkul area under Bonkul Police station.

Police is further investigating the case.
