AGARTALA, July 7 (TIWN): Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) and Tribal Youth Federation (TYF) of Agartala Region Committee placed a deputation of 88 point of demands to Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dr. Prafullajit Sinha on Monday at AMC office.

However, DYFI and TYF organized a rally from Surjya Choumuhani and gathered in front of the AMC office and placed the deputation to the Mayor to take necessary initiatives at 15, 21 and 19 wards.

The various demands included to renovate the various roads of area, to regularly clean the garbage from the newly made drains of the area, to take a strict action against the illegal use of AMC water, to facilitate electricity in the roads through the street lights at the east side of the town hall, to create embankment in the Baganbari pond, to start drinking water facility in the area, to construct pucca road at the lane of Jura-pukur immediately of ward no. 19,  to construct drainage system from Santibazaar pond area to Motorstand, to renovate all the roads and drainage system of the Santirbazaar area. They also demanded to install LED lights in the area of ward no. 21, to clear the garbage from drains of Royal Guest house and also to renovate lanes and drains of the area.

Along with several other demands focusing on some local issues of the ward area the organization has placed the deputation.

However, the local members of the DYFI and TYF were present in the rally.
