KAILASAHAR, July 5 (TIWN): Aiming on the development of Kailasahar Sub-division, Kailsahar Development forum has organized a press conference on Sunday in the office of Kailsahar Development forum.
Kailasahar Development forum press secretary Nitish Dey, Working president Anil pal, Vice-President Chiranjib Bhattacharjee along with other dignitaries remained present in the program.
Speaking at the press conference Kailasahar Development forum press secretary Nitish Dey said that failing to get any help from the ruling government for the development of the Kailasahar sub-division, the forum has placed 5 charter point of demand to Governor Tathagata Roy on July 2nd.
The forum mainly demanded for the development of Kailasahar aerodrome, to construct a fertilizer unit, to provide Rail service from Kumarghat to kailahar, to provide Dhaka-kailasahar bus service, and upliftment of Unakoti tourist spot. However, placing demand to the governor the forum further demanded for immediate action regarding the fulfillment of the demands.
It is to be mentioned here that over past many days that the forum has been fighting for the development of the Kailsahar sub-division. Even earlier, in this regard they had also placed 13 charters of demands to the state Chief Minister Manik Sarkar for fulfilling their demand.
However, long time has passed but so far no action is taken. Failing to get assurance from the ruling government they organized several protest rallies, mass demonstration, they even called for 24 hours strike at Kaiasahar, and road blockade demanding the fulfillment of their demand.
Placing demand to Governor Tathagata Roy the members of the Kailasahar development forum said that they will move for further massive protest if their demands are not fulfilled instantly.
