AGARTALA, July 4 (TIWN): Social Welfare and Social Education Department on Saturday organized a felicitation programme at Mukta Dhara Auditorium.
Social Welfare and Social Education Department Minister Bijita Nath inaugurated the programme. A total of 24 students were felicitated on June 4, among them maximum were the girls, who had managed to secure between 1st to 10th positions and rest were physically handicapped.
Addressing the programme, Minister Bijita Nath said that it is a proud moment that girls are coming forwards to gain better education. These girls are our future, they are the dreamers and visionaries who can change the world.
She further stated that in these days girls are trying to progress in every field. They do not just sit back and accept the barriers that keep them from realizing their boundless promises. She also said that the state owes these girls, and girls like them would be around the world, an education system is the key to their dreams.
