AGARTALA, June 3 (TIWN): All the permanent labourers under Forest division gave a petition to Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Friday morning demanding the regularization of the permanent labourers under Forest Division. The main agenda of the employees for meeting Chief Minister Manik Sarkar was to question why the authority has not yet regularized them in their jobs.
The permanent labourers of the organization however said that, they have pleaded to the concerned authority regarding this matter but no action is taken so far. Failing to get any help from the authority they have decided to meet the Forest Minister and CM Manik Sarkar.
As a part of meeting with the concerned authority, they also met the Forest Minister Naresh Jamatia and verbally placed their demand to him. Talking to the permanent labourers of the forest division, the Forest Minister on Friday morning, also gave assurance that he would look into the matter very soon and will take the necessary actions.
Allegations were raised against the negligence of the government since days, towards the regularization of Permanent Labourers. The negligence for taking any step for the regularization of the labourers has sparked resentment among the Permanent Labourers. All the permanent labourers exclaimed criticism towards such disappointing decision of the government and demanded to the government for taking an immediate action or else they will move for further protest.
