TELIAMURA, July 2 (TIWN): An unidentified body of a middle-aged woman was found at Tuisindrai area near to Assam-Agartala road under Teliamura Police Station on Thursday.
After getting information, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Ajit Pratap Singh, Officer In-Charge Santosh Shil and other officials went to the spot and recovered the body.
The police official informed that the deceased seems to be around 50 years old. Detailing about the incident it has been said that from two months the woman was roaming in the Tuisindrai area. On Thursday morning seeing the body of the woman laying near the road some passersby immediately informed the police about the spotted body.
Getting the information, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Ajit Pratap Singh along with his staff rushed to spot and recovered the deceased. When the police asked about the identity of the woman, the locals denied to say anything.
However, the local said that she was roaming like a gypsy in the area and so no one bothered to ask her anything. During further investigation a woman residing nearby said that she use to visit the houses and would ask for food.
Further, the police took her to Teliamura Hospital for post-mortem.
