ABS service of IGM unit strikes demanding to provide their remaining salary

AGARTALA, July 1 (TIWN): The so called modernized Indira Gandhi Memorial (IGM) hospital is fuming over several crises after the ABS (Agartala Brave Security) of IGM unit hits strike at the Hospital premises on Wednesday, demanding to pay their remaining 5 months of salary.

The hospital where the health service has been declining day by day, the sudden strike of the ABS guard left the authority over deep thought. The security guards demanded to pay their 5 months of remaining salary as soon as possible.

They also alleged that when any of the security guard managed to ask the concern authority about their remaining salaries, they were being always threatened and were asked to leave the job.

Reportedly, during the working hour the authority treats the guards very badly, is resulting resentment within the ABS service guards.

According to the sources report, the ABS head has been unable to manage the remaining salary on time because till day the hospital authority has not dispatched a single amount of check in the name of ABS service, is resulting several crises over the hospital.

The hospital which has been suffering from various terrible problems, including poor condition of water sewerage system in front of the entrance of IGM hospital and the poor availability of pure drinking water added harassment within the patients. The problems also includes lack of care and compassion, such as staffs not doing enough to ensure the patient is comfortable, dirty atmosphere in the hospital, and inadequate doctor’s visit.

The clash between the hospital authority and the ABS service of IGM unit has given headache to the patients and the patient parties on Wednesday.

Several problems gripped the Indira Gandhi Memorial (IGM) hospital in the heart of capital city- Agartala as the concerned authority failed to ensure minimum healthcare services in the hospital till date.

Though the patients and patient parties have been raising several questions about the prolonged run inappropriate healthcare services in the hospitals, but the authority and concerned department still remained silent.
