KAMALPUR, June 26 (TIWN): Much against the ado and ego of the present State government about employee-friendly attitude, the GRS workers of the state advanced towards knocking the Prime Minister for fulfilling demands. And it could be treated nothing but irony that the GRS workers who were chosen and selected from the CPIM party’s cadres went to seek shelter from a so-called capitalist Prime Minister!
After a prolonged dual between the GRS workers and the employee-friendly leftist State government, the GRS workers ultimately decided to knock the Prime Minister.
The GRS workers were demanding for long time to provide them with regularization and security of their jobs, full benefit like other states’ workers and some other benefits. But the State government and the Party leaders had been playing the same faded song of ‘central deprivation’ for long.
They even went to the extent of observing strike. But in spite of thinking of fulfilling their demands, the government adopted stringent actions against them. At last the GRS workers dropped their demands in postcards to the Prime Minister of India.
