The stern voice of Sinha has come, after the police are being found playing a negligent role towards the scam under NHM, Unakoti District.According to the official source, at least five accused officials have already been issued with a transfer order. Kanchanpur Sub-Division Medical Officer Choitanya Reang is recently transferred to Dharmanagar sub-divisional hospital whereas one Sutapa Bhattacharjee is inducted to sit at Kanchanpur.

.Besides, the accused CMO Dr. Alok Dewan was transferred to Kumasrghat village hospital as an in-charge.

However, Sinha alleged that the adjacent of the money shown to the Mission Director is less, whereas the figure might have crossed more than Rs. 30 crore. Birajit Sinha said that the amount of Rs 4.47 crore "is only the tip of the iceberg.” Huge amounts of money have been looted through false utilisation and by doling out cash to fake NGOs. Only a CBI investigation can unearth the whole truth but the NHM director has done a good job. We will monitor the progress of the case."

With another major setback to the investigation of the National Rural Health Mission (NHM) scam unearthed at Unakoti District of Tripura the FIR named corrupt Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) and other officers have got an easy way to escape from the entire allegations against them.
