KHOWAI, June 21 (TIWN): With an objective to encourage mass, especially youngsters for voluntary blood donation, 6bn TSR has organized a blood donation camp at Ramchandra Ghat, Khowai on June 20.

Altogether 57 TSR jawans has enthusiastically donated their blood for the sake of saving life. The 6bn TSR headquarter was inaugurated in the year 2010. Knowing the importance of blood for the people, from the year of inauguration, 1168 jawans have donated their blood.

Marking the importance of donating blood, Commandant of 6bn TSR Timir Das said that every eligible individual should voluntarily donate their blood. Donating blood should become a habit for the mass as blood can save life. Some time, we come across many patients who pass away due to insufficient blood in the hospitals or the Blood Bank but the regular initiatives of the people may save the life.

Enhancing on the same topic of blood donation, Assistant Commandant of 6bn TSR Shibu Ghotok said that any person between 18 and 60 can easily donate their blood in case the person does not go through any health complication. As there is no substitute of human blood and only blood from one person can save another. Therefore, it is necessary to donate blood for the sake of saving the life of human being.

However, thrice in a year, the 6bn TSR take initiatives to organize blood donation camp.
