KAMALPUR, JUNE 20 (TIWN): In the sensational Bijoy Deb custodial death case in the police lock-up of Kamalpur Police station, the deceased’s wife appealed for having the post-mortem report through RTI Act. It occurred following the strong speculations of police-doctor nexus to save the alleged police personnel from the impending penalties.

After the State government’s order for magisterial investigation in the sensational Bijoy Deb custodial death case in Kamalpur police station lock-up on 5^th June last, the DM and Collector Sandip R. Rathore recorded the statements of the related parties friday.

Then the matter of post-mortem came out. It has been speculated that, due to profiting nexus, the doctors have declared the death of Bijoy as a result of heart-blockage and it would serve as a boon to the cops. In this situation, to know the facts Bijoy’s wife Aparna filed an RTI application seeking the post-mortem report. Now what would reveal in the report is the matter to be seen.
