KHOWAI, June 19 (TIWN): When education among the students of Khowai Padmabil area and Tulashikhar area needs keen eye to improve, the concern authority is busy in commencing various buildings in the name of improvement of the education system.

The concern authority on Friday marked the inauguration of two offices for the Inspector of Schools at Baijalbari of Padmabil area and at Champahaur of Tulashikhar area with gaiety at around 11 AM. The IS office of Baijalbari of Padmabil area was inaugurated by MLA Padma Debbarma. Beside, the inauguration of the Champahaur of Tulashikhar area IS office has been done by Member of District Council, ADC Guru Padma Debbarma.

Reportedly, this year only 23 percent of students of Baijalbari and 20 percent student of Champahaur have managed to pass the board examination. Where the concern department would have gone through various initiatives to improve the status of education among the students, the department has been busy in witnessing the inauguration of offices.

The State Government is fallaciously running behind the quantitative approach of literacy, leaving behind the qualitative approaches of number of schools and students which means nothing to obtain the attention.

Thus, the event stands exposed about the interest of the ruling Government towards the qualitative approach of literacy among the students. No concern authority is interested to take a qualitative approach, as for which lakhs of rupees are being spent with no fruitful yield.

No surprise that the state by now boasts of being the highest literacy state, but the poor quality of the literacy sheds dark cloud over the qualitative education of the state. Besides, the poor teaching pattern in the interior art of the state hampers the necessity of the education among the interested students of the area.

Reportedly, most of the schools in the interior part of the states are deserted under the political atmosphere leading the parents of the students to oppose them to proceed with education.

However, there are many schools which lacks teaching staffs due to which the students fails to access better education leading their future towards darkness. Therefore, apart from constructing number of buildings in name of development in the education system, the authority should lead keen eyes towards the quality of education delivered in most of the schools in the interior of the state.
