KAMALPUR, June 19 (TIWN): Commoners of Kamalpur suffered a lot due to sudden and unannounced closure of all the three nationalized bank branches yesterday.

The closure without any prior notice created much unrest among the consumers. Although the branches of Tripura State Co-operative Bank and Tripura Gramin Bank remained open, the branches of UBI, SBI and UCO Bank were closed.

It created much unrest and anger among the commoners. Later it was known that, Thursday was scheduled for the commissioning of EVMs for bye-election of 46 Surma Assembly Constituency.

The process to strengthen and keep up the tune of democracy gifted the people here with unwanted troubles and harassments. Moreover, the bank branches not even bothered to notify the matter of closure in due time. It created much unrest and anguish in commoners.
