AGARTALA / TELIAMURA, June 17 (TIWN): A written complaint which has almost become a “blind-caseâ€, has been launched in Teliamura P.S.on Tuesday at 2.30 pm against “unknown†accused in the charge of robbery and attempt to murder. A truck driver namely Sudhir Sarkar and his assistant Mohon Debbarma started for Kolkata from Teliamura via Shilong with the truck number AS0133C775 on June 13.
On June 14 morning when they were on the way of Churaibari that a boy asked for lift and without any doubt ordinarily they welcomed him for that journey.
It was on the way when they reached Karimganj, Assam and went to a little shop namely “Tripureswari” for food. As soon as after that refreshment they started their journey again and reached Hafflong, under Shillong, the driver and his accompany fainted and duly the driver stroked the truck with a electric post.
When they woke up they were injured and Rs. 1,50000/ had been looted from the driver along with a gold chain which was on the neck of the driver. Then they contacted their family members anyhow by phone and were taken to the local hospital. But after a time their condition started to decline and spotting that the doctor referred both of them to the GB hospital. This case has been registered in Teliamura PS, on June 16 afternoon.
Now this has become a blind case almost where no clues are available met. Hence the main allegations are coming against that unknown boy who met them at Churaibari or the shop keeper had any connection with those persons who actually robbed. Police is investigating the case.
